Meet Our RiderCoaches

Theresa Duurloo Neff
A certified Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) RiderCoach since 2008. Theresa really enjoys training. She will help you use correct riding techniques and strives for you to make them a habit. She wants you prepared for that “once-in-a-lifetime” situation that could save your life.

Trence McCoy
A certified Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) RiderCoach for over 20 years. (although he claims to be 29) Trence has over twice that amount of time teaching people a vocation through his Small Engine Repair classes at Bossier Parish School for Technology & Innovative Learning. He is a World Drag Bike Champion… so he can ride and repair motorcycles, a winning combination. You will appreciate his knowledge, humor and expertise as he makes you the best rider you can be.

Adrian Lee
The greatest help on the range still has to go to ADRIAN LEE. Adrian began training with MSF back around 2005. He is so helpful in keeping the range fun. He works in the medical field during the week and trains with us on the weekend. Adrian can probably answer any question you have whether it is about motorcycles or life… he has answers. He is very professional. He has the best smile you have ever seen. He is wise beyond his years. Absolutely – hands down – a great man to work with.

Michael Burnley
Michael has been with Pelican State Motorcycle Training since 2023. Recently got his MSF RiderCoach this year.

Brian Lowrey
New Instructor

Mike has been an MSF RiderCoach for several years. He brings a lot of useful techniques that help the student develop the muscle memory & skill set needed to enjoy motorcycling. He is a dedicated to the curriculum and the student. He enjoys training people who are literally riding for the very first time.

Jim Price
Jim became a RiderCoach in 2008 and a RiderCoach Trainer in 2011. He is proficient in coaching the Basic Rider Course, Basic Rider Course II, Military Sportbike Rider Course, and Advanced Rider Course. He has helped those who have never grabbed handlebars to those who have ridden for 30 years. Jim’s coaching will bring out your confidence and build your competence whether you are learning as a new rider or honing your skills as an experienced rider. He is very passionate about riding safely and helping others learn safe riding skills.

Dana became a RiderCoach in 2008. He has been riding motorcycles for a few decades. Dana’s passion is riding safely and gets super excited when he has the opportunity to help other riders learn safe riding skills. He really enjoys seeing the excitement on student’s faces when they accomplish new skills. Dana is an awesome teacher and loves to pass on what he has learned over the years that he has been riding.

Tanner Alwell
Tanner became a RiderCoach in 2019. He has been riding for more than 10 years. Having the opportunity to teach and assist others with not only the fundamental skills of riding but the safety aspect as well, is very important to him. He feels that riding motorcycles should not be a selfish act. When someone chooses to ride, their family, friends, and loved ones are concerned with their well-being. He believes that among the many uncontrollable variables out there on the road, rider safety is one variable that should always be considered and utilized. He is constantly learning and progressing not only as a coach but as a fellow motorcycle rider and intends to continuously share that knowledge with others.
